Social Media is Terrifying

cweberwrites

It may seem silly to include this in a blog from a writer, but it turns out that writing the book is only half the thing. Getting the word out there so that people can find the books? That takes content, likes and follows. Ugh. I'm torn on the whole social media thing as it is, raising children and worrying about how it might warp their brains. To any teens and tweens reading this, social media is brain melting garbage. Except for me, follow my pages! Yeah, that about fits. Mixed signals much? Anyway, here I am, trying to think of content for the gram. I've even considered jumping on TikTok, but it's a bit overwhelming, so I'm just going to let that simmer for a minute. A friend suggested hiring a teenager to run my TikTok page. I'm still not sure if that was a serious suggestion, but I keep thinking about it.

The good news is that I can't write for 8 hours a day, my brain doesn't work that way, so I jump between writing, editing, and social media accounts. And now blogging. I'm tempted to just post pics of my cat. Feel free to comment if you think that would work, I always have cat photos available!
